By accessing or using Hair Wellness Lab by Wynn Essentials ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
To access certain features, and to purchase CrownPrint™, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You agree not to share your account with others or use another person's account without their explicit permission.
Account authentication is handled through Supabase. By creating an account, you also agree to Supabase's terms of service.
Hair Wellness Lab currently provides its general platform tools without a recurring membership fee. There is no active premium membership and no recurring subscription offering.
General platform tools — available to registered users without a recurring membership fee — include the Hair Porosity Test, Your Crown Type, Routine Builder, Crown Care Calendar, Weekly Crown Check-In, Crown Journal, Crown Score Tracker, Scalp Health Log, Crown Shedding Log, Crown Coach, Crown Community, Crown Mail, My Crown Profile, Natural Girlies Digital Magazine, the Product Analyzer, Product Compatibility Checker, Protective Style Risk Analyzer, Hidden Breakage Cost Calculator, Crown Environment Analyzer, Hair Twin Matcher, Hair Growth Timeline, Crown Timeline, and the Hair Knowledge Library.
The CrownPrint Quick Check is free as well. It is the short assessment that produces your Crown Score, and it shares a name with CrownPrint™ because both feed the same score — but it is not the paid product described in Section 4, and taking it never involves a charge.
CrownPrint™ is a separate one-time purchase and is the only paid product we currently sell. It is described in Section 4.
We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will update these Terms and make any charge clear before you are asked to pay. Anything you have already purchased, including CrownPrint, is not affected by a future change.
Taking the CrownPrint™ assessment is free. As of August 2026, the CrownPrint Intelligence Report™ costs $9.99 as a one-time purchase. The current price will always be displayed before checkout and applies only to future purchases.
It is a single charge, not a subscription. It does not renew, there is no recurring billing, and there is nothing to cancel.
Answering the assessment questions costs nothing and requires only an account, so you can complete a CrownPrint, receive your CrownPrint code and your Crown Score, and decide about the report afterwards. Your purchase includes your CrownPrint Intelligence Report™ in full, and you are never asked to pay a second time to generate it or to read it.
CrownState™ refreshes are included. You can update your CrownState whenever your needs change, without retaking the assessment and without an additional charge.
Your access is permanent through your account. Your CrownPrint and its report are saved to your Hair Wellness Lab account and do not expire. You will need to be signed in to view them, which is what keeps your results private to you.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. All billing data is managed by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
CrownPrint is a one-time purchase of a digital product delivered to your account. Because there is no subscription, no refund situation involves a partial billing period, a cancellation, or unused time.
We will review and process a refund if:
Outside these situations, we generally do not refund a CrownPrint once your Intelligence Report has been generated, because the report is produced from the information you submitted and is delivered to your account immediately. We still read every request, so contact us if your situation is not listed above.
To request a refund, contact us at hello@hairwellnessslab.com within 14 days of the charge, with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We will respond within 3 business days.
Hair Wellness Lab does not sell physical products. This policy applies to digital purchases only. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live.
Hair Wellness Lab uses Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, to generate personalized insights and recommendations. These outputs are automated and may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation.
The information and outputs provided by Hair Wellness Lab — including quiz results, routines, scores, and AI-generated analysis — are not medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or dermatological guidance.
Hair Wellness Lab is a wellness education platform, not a healthcare provider. Our tools are designed to help you understand and track your hair health, not to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns, including scalp conditions, hair loss, or other health-related issues.
You agree not to use Hair Wellness Lab to:
Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our discretion.
You are solely responsible for content you post in the Crown Community, Crown Mail, your Crown Profile, and any other public or shared areas of the platform.
By posting content, you grant Hair Wellness Lab a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content within the Service. You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law, without prior notice.
All content, tools, branding, copy, and code on Hair Wellness Lab are the property of Wynn Essentials unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Content you submit (such as journal entries or quiz responses) remains your own. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide the Service to you.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion.
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Closing your account ends your access to the Service, including any CrownPrint you have purchased, because your CrownPrint and its report live in your account. Contact us before closing your account if you want a copy of your report.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
Hair Wellness Lab respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content on the platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to us containing the following:

Counter-notices — if content you posted was removed in response to a copyright claim and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing your name, contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction of the courts in California.
We will address repeat infringers in accordance with applicable law, which may include termination of their accounts.
