Terms of Service

By accessing or using Hair Wellness Lab by Wynn Essentials ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

To access certain features, including premium tools, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You agree not to share your account with others or use another person's account without their explicit permission.

Account authentication is handled through Supabase. By creating an account, you also agree to Supabase's terms of service.

Hair Wellness Lab offers both free and premium tiers of access.

Free tools — available to all registered users at no cost — include the Crown Health Quiz, Hair Porosity Test, Your Crown Type, Routine Builder, Crown Care Calendar, Weekly Crown Check-In, Crown Journal, Crown Score Tracker, Scalp Health Log, Crown Shedding Log, Crown Coach, Crown Community, Crown Mail, and Natural Girlies Digital Magazine.

Premium membership unlocks the advanced analysis toolkit, including the Product Analyzer, Product Compatibility Checker, Protective Style Risk Analyzer, Hidden Breakage Cost Calculator, Crown Environment Analyzer, Crown Texture Scan, Crown Pattern Check, Hair Twin Matcher, Hair Growth Timeline, Crown Timeline, Ultimate Crown Report, My Crown Profile, and the Hair Knowledge Library.

Premium access is granted only while an active, paid subscription is maintained. Access is revoked immediately upon cancellation or payment failure. Free tools remain accessible regardless of subscription status.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a premium plan, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate shown at the time of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

We do not store your payment card details. All billing data is managed by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

Hair Wellness Lab sells digital subscriptions. Because premium access is delivered immediately upon payment, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or for periods already consumed.

Exceptions — we will review and process a refund if:

• — You were charged due to a billing error on our end.
• — You were charged after cancelling your subscription, due to a system error we can verify.
• — You contact us within 48 hours of an unintended charge and have not accessed premium features during that billing period.

To request a refund, contact us at hello@hairwellnesslab.com with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We will respond within 3 business days.

Hair Wellness Lab does not sell physical products. This policy applies to digital subscription access only.

Hair Wellness Lab uses Claude, an AI model by Anthropic, to generate personalized insights and recommendations. These outputs are automated and may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation.

AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional medical, dermatological, or clinical advice. See our AI Disclaimer for full details.

The information and outputs provided by Hair Wellness Lab — including quiz results, routines, scores, and AI-generated analysis — are not medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or dermatological guidance.

Hair Wellness Lab is a wellness education platform, not a healthcare provider. Our tools are designed to help you understand and track your hair health, not to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns, including scalp conditions, hair loss, or other health-related issues.

You agree not to use Hair Wellness Lab to:

• — Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users in the Crown Community, Crown Mail, or elsewhere on the platform.
• — Post spam, promotional content, or unsolicited commercial messages.
• — Share false, misleading, or harmful health or medical claims.
• — Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates any third party's rights.
• — Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or platform systems.
• — Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our discretion.

You are solely responsible for content you post in the Crown Community, Crown Mail, your Crown Profile, and any other public or shared areas of the platform.

By posting content, you grant Hair Wellness Lab a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content within the Service. You retain ownership of your content and may delete it at any time.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law, without prior notice.

All content, tools, branding, copy, and code on Hair Wellness Lab are the property of Wynn Essentials unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

Content you submit (such as journal entries or quiz responses) remains your own. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide the Service to you.

Hair Wellness Lab and Wynn Essentials are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated outputs, subscription interruptions, or data loss.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your access to premium features will end immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.

Hair Wellness Lab respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content on the platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to us containing the following:

• — Your full legal name and contact information (email, mailing address, phone).
• — A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
• — The specific URL or location on the platform where the alleged infringement appears.
• — A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• — A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
• — Your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notices — if content you posted was removed in response to a copyright claim and you believe the removal was in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing your name, contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake, and your consent to jurisdiction of the courts in California.

We will address repeat infringers in accordance with applicable law, which may include termination of their accounts.
