Hair Wellness Lab
7-Day Crown Reset Plan
A gentle reset for moisture, scalp, and growth.
Your Plan
- Day 1
Baseline + hydration audit
Audit your crown
Note how your hair feels today — dryness, shedding, scalp tension. Drink two extra glasses of water before bed.
- Day 2
Gentle cleanse reset
Reset your cleanse
Use a sulfate-free cleanser with lukewarm water. Focus the friction on the scalp, not the lengths.
- Day 3
Moisture balance check
Rebalance moisture
Apply a moisture-forward mask for twenty minutes. A shower cap or warm towel helps it penetrate.
- Day 4
Scalp comfort support
Soothe the scalp
Five minutes of slow scalp massage with a lightweight oil, working in deliberate circles.
- Day 5
Low-manipulation styling reset
Pause the tension
Swap tight styles for a loose protective set. Fewer touchpoints means fewer breakage spots.
- Day 6
Breakage prevention check-in
Protect your ends
Check your ends for splits. Seal with a light oil and sleep on silk or satin.
- Day 7
Crown wellness next steps
Plan the next chapter
Revisit your Day 1 notes. Pick one win to carry forward and one focus for next month.
For the next 7 days, focus on consistency — not perfection. Five minutes a day is enough.
Day 3 companion
Which way is your leave-in moving water?
Humectants attract water and hold onto it. What they do not do is choose where they take it from. Move the slider to the kind of air you are in.
Working for youPlenty of water in the air. A humectant has something to draw on, so it pulls moisture toward the strand. This is the weather your leave-in was probably designed around.
Day 6 companion
Shed, or broken?
They look identical in a sink and they call for opposite responses. Pick up one strand, run your fingers to the base, and tell us what is there.
That is a shedThe follicle released it at the end of its resting phase. Because a hair rests for eight to sixteen weeks before it lets go, whatever set this in motion happened two to three months ago. Look at what changed back then, not at what you did this week.
This helps you observe, not diagnose. There is no universal normal amount, and comparing your sink to anyone else’s will not tell you much. If shedding is sudden or heavy, or your scalp is changing, please see a doctor or dermatologist.
